My Guru – My True Strength

My name is Divesh Sharma and I am from Mumbai. I am a devotee since 2005. I would like to share a lovely miracle which happened with me recently. In July 2013, I had gone to the Bangalore Ashram, to celebrate my birthday with Sri Sri. But He was not present there. I was not aware that Sri Sri would be travelling on the day of my birthday, and so I had booked my tickets well in advance. I did not have the heart to cancel my tickets and miss out on a beautiful opportunity to stay in a heavenly place like the Ashram, so I decided to go ahead with the trip, as per plan. I had a truly blissful time over there. On 3rd September, 2013 I left for the Ashram once again, to do an Advance Course & the Shakti Kriya with Guruji.

I reached the Ashram on the 4th of September. On reaching there, I went straight to the Secretariat to meet Sri Sri. There I was informed that Gurudev was in Mysore and would return in the evening. So at about 5 pm, I went outside Gurudev’s Kutir, and was asked to wait there as He was to pass from that road soon. At around 7 pm, when Guruji came out to go to the VishaLakshi Mantap (VM) for Satsang, several people had already gathered to see Him and take His blessings. Guruji walked by each one with a smile on His face. He never stopped at anyone in particular. But, for some reason, God knows what, when Guruji reached me, He stopped & looked at me with a smile. So I gave Him the gift which I had taken for Him in July (During my birthday). It was the statue of Lord Ganesha hugging a Shivling. Guruji looked at it like a small child would, and then told me, “BAHUT SUNDAR HAI” (Its very Beautiful). He also hugged me. You can understand how amazing that was.

The next day, when I went to get myself registered for the Shakti Kriya, the Doctors were wondering how I would manage to do it, as I am diabetic. I was told that my form would be filled only after checking my blood sugar level. So the next morning, the doctor did my blood test & was shocked to see that my sugar level was super normal. But after that, I was told to come back to the clinic at 10 am. There the senior Doctor told me that unfortunately, I would not be able to do the Course (Shakti Kriya) & that I should return at 4 pm to talk to the HOD. This was really disturbing for me as I was extremely keen on learning the Shakti Kriya, I had heard just so much about it. I decided to speak to Gurudev about the same. So after the Devi Pooja, at about 11:30 am, I went to the room behind the VM stage to meet Guruji. No one is allowed to go there. I was also stopped initially, but after 2 minutes, the volunteer allowed me to go in.

I waited there for just 5 minutes and suddenly, Sri Sri entered. He came towards me, and then removed the Devi Pooja garland which was around Him, & put it on me. I felt so blessed at that moment. I then asked Guruji about doing the Shakti Kiya. Guruji told me that it was not necessary for me to do it as His blessings are always with me. “MY BLESSINGS ARE ALWAYS THERE WITH YOU”, these were His exact words. I was completely satisfied with this answer and all my tension just vanished.
