The Light in the Dark

When I find myself lost in the darkness of life,
You are the light that guides me through strife.

When I’m plagued with doubts and fears,
You bring the certainty that dries my tears.

My limited view of the world you expand,
Guiding me with your wise and steady hand.

In times of guilt and feelings of being a victim,
You remind me of the infinity of my soul within.

Nature’s warmth has always been present,
But it’s through you that I truly feel its essence.

When life’s storms tear me apart,
You gather my pieces and mend my heart.

The vastness of my heart’s ocean,
Is something I could never explore alone.

You’ve dived deep and showed me the way,
Leading me to where my heart’s treasures lay.

In times of abandonment and feeling alone,
You are the shore where I find my home.

You make me see God everywhere I look,
For your presence fills my world like an open book.

When memories of a brutal past cause me pain,
You bring healing flames that soothe my soul again.

Of all the things in life that I hold dear,
You are the one I adore most without any fear.

In the world we’ve built together so naive,
You are the best I could ever have and truly believe.
