The project that I am completing, 500 kms away from Bangalore in Tamil Nadu, in the middle of no where is now getting ready for inauguration on 27th June.
Yesterday afternoon I suddenly received calls from the clients from their Head Office and TN office that a team of officers have landed on the project site about which I did not have a clue.
Lots of stressful calls and in between, a huge list of complaints appear on the common group. I had to immediately book my flight tickets for the morning and had to leave for the airport at 7 am.
Geeta , my wife, knowing the situation, performed Guru puja after her sunrise agnihotra and handed over the handkerchief with akshata from the puja and said ” keep it in your pocket. All will go well”.
Early morning today I also happened to receive the YouTube link of Gurudev’s yesterday late night satsang in the German ashram. The lady DSN teacher who sent that to me had mentioned, ” listen to the last 25 mins. Gurudev has spoken beautifully”.
As I started my trip to the airport, I heard Gurudev speaking about two birds on a branch, one bird constantly eating and the other one just watching and He said be the second one. He also mentioned that there is something in us which is untouched. Be there. And then He said , instead of grumbling and complaining, get connected to the non changing self and listen to what nature wants to say, what the universe wants to say. He had explained the meaning of ” alak niranjana, bhava bhaya bhanjana”, how the divine can destroy the fears if you take shelter there. Gurudev was also looking very beautiful, well rested.
As I sat in the flight, I meditated, silently chanted Guru puja and then did the regular ” Om Namaha Shivaayaa” chanting.
The journey from the airport to my project site took an hour and there were the officers in full corporate styled attire with their IDs hanging around their neck, polished shoes, et all. I am here with my jeans, open shirt and chappals!
I silently remembered Gurudev and our long meeting of two hours started with them. I told my tensed Project Manager to relax.
All along, I started to explain to them how things fell in place to complete this project in the middle of nowhere, how the divine energy works. I could start to see their complaints slowly dropping off and in between the meeting points, the grace and guru story started to take shape.
As we concluded the meeting, it was 90% of gratitude and 10% of complaints.
In the end they asked for my assistance in organising the Inaugural Event as the topmost people from the central ministry with Z plus security will be in attendance.
As they left feeling grateful, I took a few minutes of break and in silence, contemplated what just had happened.
With complaints dropping, grace taking over, the next few days planning done, my project manager too was smiling and everything looked so very encouraging and doable.
Work is there but we are charged and raring to go.
I am sure we all have such stories to share. I am just writing to reinforce my faith in my master and how He is taking care of all of us.
