The security check for both me and my husband was done at Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore. I collected my handbag and saw my husband’s bag lying in the tray next to mine. I picked it up too. When he showed up from the men’s line, I asked, “Is that all?” pointing at his bag. He said, “Yes.” We were traveling to Dubai for a two-week vacation with Emirates.
We were waiting at the gate to board. I opened my phone, changed from airplane mode to data mode. Just then, our niece Anupama made a frantic call to me. “Aunty, listen, mama has left his phone in Security. Please collect it before you board.” He then remembered that he had kept the phone separately in a tray. He rushed back and returned to the gate, heaving a sigh of relief! “My phone has copies of our passports, tickets, visas, and many other pieces of information for our trip. What would have happened if the flight had taken off without my phone?”
While he was wondering, I was filled with gratitude for the unseen power that urged me to open the data on my phone for no reason!
Ever watching and watching over me! That’s my Guru.
