In 2004 and 2006, my life took an unexpected turn with two angioplasties, tethering me to medications for four years. However, it was the Advance Course in Ghoom with Sejalji in January 2008 that marked a transformative chapter, my sixth in the journey.
A twist of fate occurred when I forgot my medicines for the course. In the silent hours of the first night, palpitations and angina struck intensely at 2 am. Sejalji’s blessing became a soothing balm, and miraculously, with one loose motion, the distress subsided.
As the calendar flipped to April/May, the grip of severe palpitations returned. In the face of this ordeal, two potent words from the Art of Living teachings echoed in my mind—“SO WHAT.” These words became a mantra, igniting a profound faith that Guruji’s benevolent care would prevail. A deep sense of relaxation and a connection to the infinite enveloped me.
Remarkably, from that moment onward, angina and palpitations ceased, and all without a medical regimen. The overwhelming love of Guruji, a constant embrace, became the guiding force in every heartbeat. Jai Gurudev.
